Was very good until you decided to perpetuate the empathy myth of “spectrumy people” — a myth that continues to have autistic people misunderstood and harmed… these tech fecks aren’t evil because they’re autistic, they’re evil and lack empathy because they’ve been given unfettered wealth, power and privilege alongside their god-complexes. Autistic people are on the frontlines against all this shit, with a moral courage, deep passion for justice, people and the planet like you’ve never seen — so you owe that community an apology for spouting such a flippant and harmful stereotype

Hi Tam, I agree with you re the root of their lack of empathy. As I say in the Live, being that rich and powerful causes a separation from humanity that leads to a lack of empathy (I've written about this in one of my posts). My reference was not to the autism spectrum (although Elon and his people/fans do put some of his behaviours such as the Nazi salute down to this)...I was referring to the anti-social spectrum or as Jamie says sociopathic. I am aware that when people say "spectrum-y" the general sense is that it is reference to autism...so I take your point and should be more careful in the future.

I should also flag, I was diagnosed with autism two years ago.

Hi Tam, I'm sorry, I didn't notice that. I certainly think that some of these leaders are on the "sociopath spectrum" if there is such a thing. But yes, the autism spectrum is not an empathy or compassion spectrum & the callousness of Big Tech leaders has nothing to do with whether or not they're on the autism spectrum.

Appreciate your reply and statement — I agree — it was actually something Sarah said towards the end, and I stopped watching after that.
